Weekday Saw Mill River Parkway Lane Closures Scheduled

There will be single- and double-lane closures on the Saw Mill River Parkway for more than a week in Westchester as crews perform construction work in the area.

The New York State Department of Transportation issued an advisory to motorists warning that there will be weekday closures from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning on Monday, Sept. 24 in both directions of the parkway between the New York City line and exit 5A (Palmer Road) in Yonkers.

Officials said the closures are expected to last through Tuesday, Oct. 2, and will again be closed on Friday, Oct. 5. During the project, motorists can expect delays and have been advised to seek alternate routes, when possible.
